Could it be that a lot of tackle is meant to catch fisherman? I am just like everyone else and have a boat load of stuff too LOL.

For the same reason I have an excessive amount of rods and reels (some never used yet), new sinkers and hooks still in original bags laying around, etc. There's always a good deal around the corner! :roll:

I hear ya, I have three tackle boxes full of slip bobbers, #4 hooks, and weight for Crappie. Oh wait, I have two tackle trays for Crappie and the rest is for ??????? I dont know, I never fish for anything else. #-o

I still contend that it is the same reason my wife has over 300 pairs of shoes not including the boots.

I walked by the fishing section of Wally World today. I am proud of myself for not buying anything in that department in my last few visits there. Now, Bass Pro Shop is another story. :shock:
