FERRIS ZERO TURN MOWER

anyone got some good knowledge on these ZTR's. I need to re pack the front spindle bearings but can't find any good info on how to do it. I realize it would be similar to a boat trailer, but looking for some first hand experience or a how to. Have taken the front wheel/spindle off from the mower frame, but was not able to remove the bottom set of bearings. Will I have to remove the seal on the bottom of the mounting to remove it or is there another way??
