Sadly when i was in high school i had way more important things to do, chasing tail and getting as drunk as a skunk... but hell nothing's really changed except i'm still chasing tail but only one umhm " My wife's! " and i still drink my weight in coors light... lol i'v just mixed it up a bit and added boating and fishing into the mix.

Fishing is definitely in the top 5 for best ideas for a new college sport.
If the NCAA lets them drink beer while fishing (not calling it a performance enhancing drug) it's number 1 in my book.

Dang good ol Illinois didn't have fishin when I was in HS! I got robbed! But good to hear the students now are able to participate in a sport they enjoy! Many great arguments arise of this but the only sports i recognize are NASCAR, Fishing, Hunting, boatin, and ATV ridin.
