I bought an air compressor that was on craigslist. Me being the suspicious sort I thought it was too good of a deal. Anyway I brought it home, plugged it in (plugged in at the p.o. too but didn't let it run) and it run fine until it started building up pressure then it just slowly started loosing rpms and almost stopped. I'm thinking the guy really pulled a good one on me but it turns out that I googled "air compressor slows down" and after sorting found a forum where the guy had the same problem and said it was a loose belt. Could I be so lucky? Yes I was. Took the gaurd off and the belt was so loose I could almost slip it on the pullies by hand.
