Hey all,

Going to take a look at this 1997 aluminum polar Kraft 2morrow. As for motor it just went thru a carb rebuild due to improper winterizing and ethanol taking its toll. Anyway, my main concern it the fact that its riveted (the side to the bottom). Here's the link, let me know your thoughts https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/boa/3885788292.html Guy says there are no leaks, but it has carpet so how can you tell??? Won't be able to take it to lake to test. Also, what do you think is a fair price? He bought it for 2000 and put 900 in to it and is willing to take a loss at 2500?

Thanks for all your help =D>

seems like a good deal if the motor has just been serviced by a reliable shop. Check for any repairs on the hull underneath, check the spark plugs, check the transom and all equipment, check the floor. (bilge pump, power trip/tilt, wiring, steering etc). Do a compression test on it too if possible. For $2500 if everything works, you'll spend a lot less than building it.

My thoughts exactly. Looks like a lot of boat for the price IMO.
