We have it too. I watched this young fellow get body slammed into my neighbors mailbox post while getting towed in the kayak by his buddy. It took several minutes to extract him from the kayak. He decided to ride in the cab after that.

Its soooooooooooo nice to be young :LOL2: I remember those days  if that were to happen to me now a days just leave me :LOL2:

Looks like you got a little less than we got hit with last week. We got hit with it 2 days in a row and the icicles were about 8-10" long before it was over with, and the trees looked like this. Hopefully yours isn't this bad.

Yea, the faster healing rate of the young makes up for a lot of stupid.

Every tree on my place is either on the ground or has the top broken out of it or looks like a 40' stump. Then last night we had a 4.4 earthquake. WTF

This thing has certainly earned its keep the last few days

with ice that bad, if you've got many trees on your property, I can imagine that thing came in extremely useful. It sure would have been useful around here. Still would be for that mater as we still don't have it all cleaned up. Good luck with your cleanup. We've still got tons of broken limbs still hanging up in the trees.

I am also anxiously waiting for spring. I took this picture the other night on my way home. A couple hours later, a neighbor saw -42 then her temp gauge in her car went blank (scary).
