Where to Camp in North Georgia?

Hey everyone! Do any of you know of some good "off the grid" places to camp in North Georgia? My brother just got one of those pull behind pop up campers and we are looking for somewhere to go. We usually camp up in Helen but are looking for somewhere different and less touristy. As I mentioned, the more off the grid, the better. We wouldn't need water or electric hookups or anything like that, just enough room to park a camper. A lake or river closeby that we could fish during the day would be a huge bonus but not a deal breaker. Any suggestions?

I'm going to Don Carter State Park next weekend, I've read they have some "primitive" campsites, but I think you have to hike into those. The campground is new, just opened last year.
