If you go to Texas Lake Fork is awesome. Stay in the running lanes timber is everywhere. And I don't suggest wade fishing there is a fairly good population of alligators on that lake.

One day I plan on making the trip to Fork. I hear they also have some giant crappie.
Amistad and Falcon are also on my list. Hopefully soon.
