Rodanthe, NC Beachfront Rental

Just wanted to plug my brother's vacation rental in NC. He's had a pretty rough time getting it back to rental condition since Sandy came through and the insurance companies denied any liability for the damage folks buy flood insurance for. Long story short, they just finished up a week or so ago using their own money and it's back on the market for rent. It is literally right at the edge of the Atlantic. Perfect for night fishing off the beach !!! Check it out and give it a look if you are thinking about a trip to the outer banks.

It's my brother's place, but if you rent it let me know and if he confirms your stay, I'll send you a check for $100 for each week you rent after your stay. Sandy kicked his butt and I'm just trying to help him out. But if you do opt to go, please keep my "discount" between you and me and the man in the moon. :wink:

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The discount offer is only for this year to help him jump-start the rentals for this season since he got such a late start on it due to delays in the repair schedule (I can't afford to subsidize his vacation home forever).

I just told my wife that is where I wanna go on vacation next year!!!

I don't think you'll be sorry.... with or without the discount. But if you do book any time there, let me know and I'll talk to my brother and see what we can do. A good tenant who respects your place, appreciates your work keeping it up and returns year after year are the type of folks you want and the kind I'd expect to find on Tin Boats. I'm sure a perk to sweeten the deal could be arranged for the right people.

The one thing I can tell you is that if you have a particular vacation schedule, I'd book soon. I talked to him the other day and he said they already had 8 weeks booked for the rest of this season. Cross your fingers that the rest of this hurricane season stays calm and book early. 8)
