I think a lot of us are using this method or something very similar. I have been for a couple of years now and there are other variations on this that are good also.

At the hardware store where cable is sold. The crimps and stops are (should be) located near where they keep the rolls of cable. Simple to use. It worked very well. I wish I could get my current one to work as well.

Doen't work as good as an a-frame. I tried them.
