Thought Ijh225 had a line on a 67 Johnson 3hp. Turns out I was talking to a kid. The pictures are snap shots of our conversation via text. At the end of the day I'm just looking for a bigger outboard for my bass raider. Ugh

Any hooo... He insisted i come look at it in his front yard and text him when i wanted to buy it. Then i said ok. Thought about it and said I'll deal with your parents. Then he said he fixed it and its no longer for sale. Another craigslist fail.
 
That kid is going to get his butt whooped when his dad finds out he sold the motor without his permission, LOL.
 
Yea his dad is not going to be happy. It was a score for sure. I knew when i pulled the cord the motor showed great compression and with a little gas mix put in and choked it would run for a couple seconds... It was a steal of a deal. I just couldn't pass up on. I'm happy. It's a little big but that's ok
