Something you guys might appreciate

I got this in January, since my Grandpa passed away in the end of November. I didn't see him in the hospital much because he was doing real good and they moved him to a nursing home for rehab. One night he had a heart attack at the nursing home and two days later he was gone. We use to go to the same resort in Minnesota every year, in fact they started going there when my mom was a kid, and I made my first trip at 6 months old.

These are when I first got it so its really red. I need to have someone else take new pictures of this tattoo and my others.

Now that is some valid ink!

My mom drove my grandparents up a few years back for the "last time". I couldn't go because of school (I graduated high school with perfect attendance all 4 years). I would like to get up there again, it is now owned by the daughter of the couple who did when we use to go.

On all of my tattoos, I used nothing but dove or ivory soap for the first 5 days, and after that unscented curel lotion once or twice a day until it stops peeling.

I don't like putting all of that other stuff on it as I feel it keeps the skin from breathing, slowing down the healing. And any sort of anti bacterial stuff like neosporn is terrible on tattoos or piercings because it makes your body think that whatever you're putting it on shouldn't be there. The curel is just to relieve the itch when it starts to peel. If it doesn't itch I don't use anything.

Here are the other two I have. The phoenix is a cover up of a smaller phoenix (the original was terrible and was done by some second rate guy, I didn't know any better), the flames and guy on fire were added. The skull and tree were done by two different people. The tree was done by the guy that did my memorial tattoo and the phoenix.
