I'm a fan of the rat baits. Some of them have gotten HUGE. Might as well be a duckling if you're gonna target big fish!
BUT, the bigger sized rats are over $25 for ONE lure. I was lucky enough to be a winner of the Spro Rat giveaway on here otherwise I never would have tried it. I've since BOUGHT one to have a second color on hand. Never dreamed I would spend that much on one lure! These ducklings have got to be even more expensive yet!

nothing wrong with that either.

I know I'm late to the party here but I believe this won best hard lure at Icast this year. I'll never find myself in such a situation to where I'll need one but it sure does make quite the racket on the water.
