One of the most talked about baits at this years ICAST show was the new StutterStep topwater walking bait from Bill Lewis. The Stutter Step walks, turns, glides and dances to entice big fish to crunch it. Shaped like a banana with a swimming paddle tail the StutterStep walks in place, shakes its tail and glides when pulled.
The 5 inch bait weighs in at one ounce so it can be cast a country mile and is not for the weak at heart. Testing proved the blow ups were amazing and the pros that have had a chance to throw it are giving it rave reviews. With some quick twitches the StutterStep will turn its head back and forth positioned next to the target. The tail sashays with every twitch. The curved belly allows it to turn a full 180 degrees.
