Heading to NC

I will be in North Carolina for vacation this coming week. I'll be in Topsail Island for the week with my girlfriend and her family. Hopefully I will get some fishing in, but we shall see. The past two years we went on a head boat out into the gulf stream and caught tons of fish; grouper, snapper, grunts, sea bass, and lots of other random fish. Bad news is last year my gf's mom got very sick on the way out, so the plan was to find a guide and fish inshore this year. I have not found out what the plan is yet this year, but I hope we get out. I have tried the surf the past two years, with zero success, so I am debating on taking a surf rod.

:lol: Of course I will take a surf rod, I cannot handle more than a day without wetting a line. Wish me Fish :wink:
