Please help.

I bought a jon boat and there is no weight tag. The boat is a 1963 rich line model 15. I can't find any info besides the original brochure but even that has no weight info. The boat is 15ft long. 48in wide (bottom 60in top) and the 16in tall. My math is coming to about 84 cubic feet. Now if one cubic foot displacement equals 62 lbd that would mean I can hold 5,208 lbs. That's absurd. I know it's not right but I'm not a math person at all.
Is there someone who can help or point me in the direction I need to be in. This is my first build and I really don't want to sink my first boat.
