My grandmother gave this to me today while I was visiting and said it was my grandfathers and he used it when he used to go fishing.
He has been gone now for 35 years or so and I was wondering if you all could tell me anything about it like,do they make them anymore ,or just how old it is or even who made them. The only thing I can find on it is on the lens it says Stratolite which I think is the name of the lens.
It does work and takes two D size batteries. If you guys know anything about these ol lights let me know. Thanks

The housing looks similar to the old Rayovacs of that era. Be sure not to leave any batteries in it.
