I just found this place about a month ago. How long did it take to reach 600? Is there a site history thread somewhere?

Yes, this is one of the best sites on the web. I blog a lot on other sites (politics & such) and what strikes me is how well behaved everyone is here. Believe me it's not like that everywhere. Another striking thing is the quick responses, to dumb questions!

This is the only place I know of that you can ask "stupid" questions and not be treated as "stupid". That's called "civility", and it's becoming more and more scarce in todays world. I thank you Gentleman for showing me some!.

We started the site Nov 29, 2006. In less than 2 years we have come to 600 members.

No politics!
No porn!
No bashing!

Safe for a 10 year old to see? than it can be posted.

This site is rated PG. Anything off the cuff is deleted (It hardly ever happens).

Mannnnnn, I wanted to be #600.... I am happy to be here among all of you great people, lets celebrate...

I can not believe this, you are from Massachusetts.....

I grew up in Worcester, left the area in 1998.

Some relatives still live there but they say it is a madness now, so am glad I jet out just in time...

I do have great memories of the area and after living down south for a few years now, I can tell you that if it
wasn't because of the snow and below freezing temperatures, Massachusetts would be the perfect state.

Glad to meet you.

Regards.

AWESOME! Great job Jim ! This is really a great site and a breath of fresh air compared to many others. Won't be long until we hit 1200.
