With my luck, I stick my hand down in some hole and there would be a sixteen foot gator just waiting for some idiot to stick their hand in. I kind of like my fingers where they are just fine.

I think I'll stick to rod and reel. There's some big ol' snappers around here, and my luck that'd be the first thing I'd grab, or that would grab me.

I used to now a guy that used to reach under ledges, banks and culverts to grab snapping turtles by the head. I don't know how he did it but he was only bitten once and still had all his fingers. I only have to words for that. "NOT ME" or, "DUMB AZZ", whichever you prefer.
