Caught a few fish, missed a good party

Grabbed a couple tubes of crickets today & went to a local small pond to drown them. Ended-up with 55-56 'gills, about 15 or so real nice ones. The 1st one I caught was a nice one, so I couldn't decide whether to keep some, but since I just went to kill the day, I tossed 'em all back.

I stopped by a buddy's house on the way home, he told me about the party last Saturday, but I was at the Trapping Convention. They have it every year, bikers from all-over ride-in....it even makes the local paper.....getting to be quite the party. Oh it was, and it's only like a 1/4 acre pond, you could cast from 1-side to the other. I spend about 6 hours there, so it wasn't like I caught all those fish in a couple hours, lol.

I told dad we're going fishing next week.....he hasn't been in the boat yet so I'm looking forward to that as well.
