Bummer, I didn't read the link, but I'd urge anyone who fishes there to. There are precautions which need to be taken, especially regarding live fish and water in your live-wells.
Contained? It will never be contained. My only hope is that as it spreads fish develop a resistance to it. This has been in Wiscoland for years and is slowly spreading south to us. Too many bodies of water cross state lines or interconnect (especially with spring floods) to believe this will be able to be contained. On the bright side it does not affect humans and infected fish can be eaten.
yeah i agree boaters are the number one spreader of those diseases and aquatic plants just because of being lazy and not cleaning there boat and live wells
