My favorite little dirt bike back in the day. Why so expensive to buy one used now?

I want one real bad! :LOL2:

Never rode dirtbikes, but I love me some fourwheelers. Started riding riding friends and families(mostly utilities), then I bought me a Yamaha Blaster as my first personal atv, then got tired of that POS giving me problems so I broke down and bought a new one...again, a 05' blaster. Rode that for about a year and wanted something a little meaner, so I sold the blaster and bought a Yamaha Banshee. That thing was mean, and a blast to ride. Unfortunetly all my buddies started getting out of riding after I bought my banshee, so it never seen much ride time. We would all load up and go on trips because none of us had much(if any) farm or anything to really ride and that wasn't any fun by yourself, so I ended up selling it last fall. Fortunetly after I sold it, that allowed me to pay off a few extra bills and enabled me to buy my G3, So it's all good. :D Although I do miss riding that thing....talk about fun.

Here was my first one..... 96 Blaster

I had two of those. One in metallic burgundy and one in a metallic burnt yellow color.

I haven't thought about those things in years.

Thanks for jogging my memory, Jim.

Aren't you a tad big for one of those? As far as 4-wheelers, I just bought a 2000 Polaris Xplorer 250 but only bought it to pull my ice fishing gear. Not a trail rider kinda person and if I wanna go muddin' I'd rather be in an enclosed vehicle. Used to have a '99 Jeep Wrangler but would only hit the mud holes if the top was up and the windows installed.
