My GF and I went out to dinner with a buddy of mine and his wife last night and then hit the Borgata Casino in AC to watch a Comedy Show and do a little gambling. The show was pretty good. We all hit the slots for a little while. I only blew $30 as I'm not much of a gambler. My buddy put $100 in the dollar slot machine and lost $50. He said he was bored and went over to another $1 machine and put in the $50. He was down to his last $5 and hit a $1,000 payout. :shock:

We then went to our local bar and he bought drinks for all of us the rest of the night

Not a bad night, and I'd have stopped at the $30 like you did.

Never play the slots - only blackjack. Usually do pretty well. BassAddict wouldn't have stopped at $30 either I bet 8)

Glad you'll had a good time. Would have been nice to hit that payout, man I could thing of a couple of combos to add to the old arsenal.

I try to go once a year just to blow $100 bucks or so.

my wife and I go down to AC every couple of months.
We have our rooms and meals comped and get some free gifts once in a while (26"lcd tv last year)
They have us on a vip list so we get invited to a bunch of fun stuff, Car give aways
it is always a fun time.

I play nothing higher than the nickels but we play the snot out of them while we are there...
The vip list is a fluke. we had a slot hostess that had a brother that was an air force recruiter and she found out my wife had 30 years in the army so she placed us on this list. at some of these functions we were sitting next to a couple that was flown in from NC for the weekend and the MC for the night said one of our guests here tonight won 100k in the high limit slots, she said the money was nice and that now she is only down about 15k.
