There are also citations for fish you keep - but for a live release you need a witness.

And if you take teh fish from Delaware back to PA to release them there I do not think it woudl count

Nice job Dave. Congrats!!!!!
Every citation I ever get while fishing is a DUI, Public Drunkeness.

I thaught you were talking about these...

:D

Congrats!! Here in Va, you can get citations either by witness or game check station, but the citation itself doesn't specify live release or keeping the fish. (unless they've changed it here recently)

We have citations here in Ga. Of course, they are usually coupled with a fine, and due to no license, too many fish etc. :D

Here's KY's similar program: https://fw.ky.gov/trophyfishrules.asp

Eligible species w/minimum length stats: https://fw.ky.gov/trophyfish.asp

You KY guys need to start collecting this stuff!

PA has a program but all you get is a patch (WTF?)

I like the DE certificates - nice color print of the fish and just sharp looking overall.

I need to catch a LM that qualifies first, lol. The KY Bass shouldn't be a problem (i hope).

From the KY eligibilty link:
Kentucky Bass: 16"
Largemouth Bass: 23"
