The dryer started making a horrible grinding noise so I took it apart. There is a felt strip that supports the drum in the front my dyer that fell off. Not sure if it was glued on or what? Any ideas on how to fix it...or why to find a new felt strip?

They are usually just pressed on.On my dryer it's more of a heat seal and lint guard to keep the motor cool and lint free. This is where I get my parts if I can't get them locally.Their prices are about the same or cheaper than my local supplier. https://www.repairclinic.com/Home.aspx

Thanks for the link. This is what mine is supposed to look like but mine doesn't have the white pieces, but I do see where they used to be. I guess they wore and broke off and fell into the bottom of the dryer somewhere.

You're welcome.Hope that helps you out.

Never seen one like that.Mine has a lip around the case opening and the felt seal/guide slides onto that.I think mine is either a molded plastic hoop or an aluminum ring with felt glued over it.
