How happy am I, you have no idea. I have been wanting to get a surefire light forever and a day. I go online put together an order for a flahlight, extra batteries, holster, an additional lamp assembly and a neat little carrier. I enter all my info and then....I back out. I just cant do it.

UNTIL TODAY.

I posted about surefire flashlights in the "Watering hole" section and got the responses I was looking for...Great light, awesome light, worth the money...etc...etc.

A member (who is to go unnamed :-# ) emailed me and said he would like to know If I would like one at a super discount. I jumped on it. Sorry guys, do not bother asking who it was. Well guess what came in the mail today? This little tiny package. I said to myself, this flashlight is over rated.

Boy was I wrong. This thing is a flame thrower. I can not believe how bright this light is. The build quality is the best, this thing is rock solid. I took the dog for a walk at 8:30PM. I am still in shock that this little 5 inch light can produce a beam like this. Granted the batteries will last about an hour, but I dont care. If all there lights are like this (I have a feeling they are), I will never own another flashlight. I flashed this little light all the way across the street to the neighbors house...My wife started yelling at me "They are going to call the cops, they are going to think someone is trying to break in" LOL!

If you are thinking of getting one go for it. Just the awe factor is well worth the price. Matter of fact, I like this light so much that if you buy one and dont like it, I will buy it off you.

To the member that sold it to me...Thank you so much! :D

Cool light. I'm a huge headlamp guy myself. How much do they typically run? AA batteries I am assuming? If so, you could try rechargables like they ones used in digital cameras. Generally, they last much longer and you can just recharge when they die out. Its worth the money the first time around.

They use these little 123 size batteries. I mnot sure if they make ones you can recharge, I will take a look. I am hooked on this flashlight, Take it everywhere now and drive people nuts. LMFAO!

Some are as low as $.99. I tend to stay away from "no-name" brands. Surefires are $1.75, but there are several other brands for less. A panasonic 1550mah for $1.49 is a good deal! See below:
