Good news today. I still have a job!!

We found out a few months ago that my company will be closing as of July 31. Somehow I have ended up with a job working for our parent company remotely out of my home. So I am feeling very lucky today. Not to often does your company close and you get to keep your job, get a raise, and work out of your home.

Just thought I would share my good news.

So now you consider yourself at home in your boat? When another boat pulls up beside you and they ask what you are doing, you tell them you are working. Sounds good to me. Congrats.

I will actually be working out of my office location until the building sells, and then out of my home. I am going to push to have everything completely wireless so that I can work from anywhere, including the lake. Probably not on the boat, (getting the work laptop wet would probably not be good), but definately at the lake cabin.
