Angler dies when boat overturns in the Delaware Bay

This is where I fish on my boat - stories like this make me double and triple check everything before I go out.

Other fishing boats rescued two of the three but one angler died. Sobering stuff!

What a shame, the bildge didnt work, right? That should be on your check list along with the drain plug.

The Delaware Bay is no joke - I have been in 6 foot waves out there and it gets really scary, when that wind kicks up the swells and they break on the shoals, whoa!

I tried to move my boat from Cape May to Mispillion Inlet a few years ago and it took me three tries to go across - big dirty water waves breaking across the bow is scary.

And my boat is much larger then that 22 footer that those guys were in.
