Thanks for the tip on resizing. So far I have put in the back floor cooler, motor, fishfinder, trolling motor, batteries, canopy, seats, aereator in the live well, front and rear anchors and more I am forgetting. I have finished carpeting the back half and am moving on to the front. I am still undecided on the raised rear seat for motor control reasons it is a 7 inch rise but I think I am going to 86 it. I picked up the boat and trailer for 1600 used twice. Motor was another 660 but runs like a champ. I have close to 3000 into it but that includs everything I need to finish it I am just waiting for the weather to clear up so I can finish it. Any ideas or feedback is welcome.

I want a Bimini top SO bad. Your boat looks really good man.

Thank you it is about 40 percent done and as far as the Bimini goes it was 139.99 from cabelas with free shipping. Super easy to install and looks better than I thought it would.

Knox, well done sir =D> Very sharp looking boat. I bet that tasty 15 HP Merc pushes your tin like a champ. I love the Bimini, I put the same one on my boat this year also, worth every cent. I have a question for you, how did you mount the seat to the livewell lid?

Thank you sharp looking boat is what I am going for. I was wanting something simple yet custom and usable. The PO drilled through the lid of the live well which I am not happy with but my idea was to go ahead and mount the plywood and carpet with seat to the lid of the live well and seal possible leaks with washers and silicone. The plywood that covers the livewell will be on hinges so when you need to get into it you would lift it all at once grab the seat pull forward and the livewell would open with seat. I hope I am making myself clear on my idea but if I have not than my next project will be this section of the boat and will post pics asap. As far as the motor goes it pushes it very well around 18.9 but will slow a little with all the add ons. It is funny because with what little I have done to my boat I have had it out once with my wife and it was funny because at the bait shop everybody that was there came over to look and ask questions about the boat even though their boats were worth 5 to 10 fold what my boat is worth even at the lake we were approach by many who wanted to look and ask questions about the boat. here in California these bots are not very popular compared to where most members on here are from so pepole see it and have to ask questions. It is kinda funny that a guy with a 40,000 Bass boat is interested in my Turd.

I'm gussin but that must be a "Formal" fishing boat.... It has a white trolling motor..
cool rig man.

Very Formal. Actually we fish in the bay sometimes so we went with a saltwater motor since the trailer is galvanized we could put it in the bay without too many rust issues plus Bass Pro quoted us the wrong price on the troller so we held them to it we paid less than half of what it should sell for. Thanks for the feedback personally I would have prefered the black motor but for the price I could not pass it up. I guess I can always Camo it.

More pics of the boat this time on the water. Wife caught the first fish and than the rear of the boat started swaying as I pulled up the anchor it was very light. I soon realized my brand new 25.00 anchor was sitting on the bottom of the river. We went to Bass Pro today and they comped us the anchor because it was their hook that came off some how. We ended up just cruising the river untill we found a beach for the baby to play on. As you can see in the pics she was tired from fishing. All in all a good day even after I heard a splash and my 2 year old telling me there Daddy I did it all clean I turn to look and see my net floating to the bottom of the river.

My wife drove the boat on the way back as I enjoyed sitting in the front while sitting there I was thinking of new ideas. What I came up with was I am going to put a floor in the front of the boat at the same angle it currently has. I had one seat for the front but decided to get another today and I will be mounting them side by side on the floor so my 10 and 12 year old have a place to kick back when they are on the boat with their feet up on the front like a lounge chair. The seats will be on a quick disconnect so they can be removed when not needed. I am not a bass fisherman so storage isn't that essential for me. I am looking more for comfort plus on the overnighters for Crappie I can drop a light off the front and relax low in the boat while being comfy and even with a buddy we can fish off both sides with plenty of room. I am also installing a quick release for a seat to be on the front for trolling motor control and when not in use the front platform will house my Bar B Que. My build was meant to be simple useable comfortable and spacious considering the size of the boat and so far so good.
