Grumman 1542b

[strike]just bought a 92 Grumman 1542b with a Johnson 25 for $800. I’m a boat mechanic by trade so not concerned about engine issues but does anyone have a similar sized boat. Would like to see recommended mods. Will be using it to fish with my 9 and 6 year olds and probably duck hunting.[/strike]

I also just picked up 15ft boat (Starcraft 1542) with a 15hp and also plan to fish with my 9 and 6 year olds AND duck hunt. So no advice, but I’ll start posting when I get started. I’ll be extending the forward deck and adding trolling motor to start. Cheers!

I will be picking it up this weekend so will probably start a build thread I’m pretty excited to start but we are expecting daughter # 3 shortly so it may put a hold on projects
