We have a house in eastern North Carolina and I got this jon boat to run around the marsh and fish. After hurricane Flo the tree we chained her to fell on her. Our saving grace was the ground being so wet, resulting in the trailer just being pushed 8 inches into the ground. This poor boat still had paint on the skeg when we bought her, and since we got her she has sunken multiple times from 50+ mph northeastern storms, plus this. Anyway, we still have to make a fishing machine out of her. I have gotten rod holders and a "tackle station" (milk crate with a bungee cord to hold tackle trays), and I was wondering if anybody has done anything with a boat like this before. Any tips? Thanks!!
