Ok, so here's a few pics of the build I've been working on for the last month. Its a total strip and refurbish of the boat trailer and the boat itself. Eventually I will have lights inside all hatches that are framed, i used a variety of Rubbermaid totes cut down to height for the deck height. Up front will be a deep stow for wet items life jackets, achor etc... alsoz put in a cooler that drains to the 1200gph tsunami bilge that will be in the stern of the boat. Another 14×20 rubbermaid in the ce ter of the boat for 2 deep cycle batteries. The blue boxes are designated for plano boxes. I have an idea for some rod storage on the side of the boat walls below the gunnels. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Also I will be painting the exterior with Fasco steel flex epoxy to make sure she is all sealed up. The transom is full aluminum 1×1 square tubing sheets with stainless inside and another layer of aluminum on the outside.

Little update on the boat, found the interior paint color. The lights are all in and tested, looking pretty good so far. Now on to finish interior paint. After that I'm flipping it over to paint the outside. Note to all that have extra holes over the years. My boat is 60 years old, I used marine grade jb weld to patch the holes. Braising rods wouldn't work, nobody i know has an aluminum welder. That aluminum jb weld works amazing though.

Thank you for posting a reply, I appreciate it. Still trying to figure out how to add a few more paths for drainage. Will probably add two more conduits from front to rear of the boat. Interior paint is finished. Waiting on the clear coat to dry. Now its onto the exterior sanding and prep for paint.

Update with the navy blue interior paint done. Also dropped in the carpet temporarily to see what it will look like!
