Hello all, thank you in advance!
I just got a 12 ft Klamath trailer boat (for free) it sat in a good friends driveway for almost 7 years and only saw freshwater. I plan to use it for the Long Beach inner harbor (salt water). but I wanna do a full restoration on it. so far i have stripped the paint and all the old seal which was just lifted. i did replace all the old seal with flex seal... not sure if that was right or not lol... but wanted some guidance and advice on what to use to seal all the rivets and seals on the outside of the boat im thinking gluvit or flasco steelflex 2000 (unless theres something better). Im not even sure if it leaks yet or not but wanna do some due diligence
Also any advice on painting and flooring for the inside, not sure if i wanna do marine carpet or some type of laquer or any other option besides the carpet! thank you in advance... also any other cool ideas are welcomed!
