Rod holders on Lowe Boat

Hello everyone. I’m a newbie but need suggestions.
I just bought a Lowe 1760 RX Pathfinder and it only came with 4 horizontal rod lockers with tubes under one side of boat gunnel. Any suggestions for additional storage?

Check out my Tracker III build - I used Rich's idea for flaring thin walled PVC using a heat gun and a wine bottle and they came out great.

My boat has stick steering and is laid out differently than yours, but you might get a useful idea from it. I have rod lockers on each side and they will hold 4 rods each. I often use them for storing other things, and carry the rods in the rod holders in the picture:



The velcro strap on the top of the locker will hold several rods, and the strap holds them very securely. The rod holders on the side will each hold 2 rods, and they have 2 positions. This type of rod holder used to be very common, but for some reason they are hard to find now.

The strap type might work best with your boat. Enjoy that new boat!
