Our season opened Easter weekend. This has been a pretty good year so far. This is number 3 for me (21 lbs. 1 1/8 inch spurs). Had one that was 1 1/4 inch spurs but just weighed 19 lbs. The other had just over an inch and 19 1/2 lbs. Have one more tag left so probably try to fill it Saturday, if my luck holds out.

Congrats on the birds!

Our season just started. I went out hog hunting saturday night. Got in stand about 2 hours before dark. About an hour after I got in stand I had a hen about 10 yards from the base of my tree. Right before dark I had 2 birds that I heard sounding off for hours, come with in 20 yards from me from otherside. Then one of them flew up into a tree within 15 yards from me. Couldn't see it after it was in the tree tops. It was right above my hog hole. Next Saturday, I'm taking my shotgun

Hope to have some pics of a hog and hopefully a turkey next weekend.
