I'm not sure how true it is but I've heard that an illegal alien who broke the law to get here, is breaking the law by being here, with one dependant, who has never paid a cent in to SSI, or anything for that mater, can draw more money and benefits from SSI/welfare/food stamps/etc than a 50 year old single mother with 2 dependents, who has worked and payed taxes her entire life.
