I have a Monark flat bottom jon boat that is not quite like any I have ever seen previously.

The model number is “2232” and it is 22’ long and 32” wide. The sides are very short (I can measure them later).

It has a serial number (instead of a hull identification number) of 13590.

Has anyone here ever run across something like this one?

Is it possible to determine the year by the serial number?

What the heck would this thing be spec’ed out for?

I don't see it listed.. but 2232 seems to be 22 feet long 32" wide... which might be the the longest narrowest boat ever made... outside of China.... You just need a coolie hat and long piece of bamboo for that thing....

The sides are 12” high.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to its purpose? Seems to be a very unusual size.

Don't know if their serial numbers are ran sequential or not, but here's the tag off of my jon that looks pretty similar and mine is a '64...
