I will do things differently ....First I will treat all the lumber (plywood ,2X4's) before framing .. Being that I use an hvlp sprayer to apply sealer it would have been easier to squirt 2 or 3 coats on the material on saw horses and then just dabbed sealer with a brush on any fresh cut ends afterward.. I would wrap the plywood pieces with carpet before installing .so the carpet is tacked to the underneath side so there is no need to fold and tuck it and staple it to the top ..some of the angles got a little frustrating to tuck nicely. And finally make sure neighbors are home to help you flip the boat over when you need to .

sealing and pre-carpeting are help a lot with time savings as well... not to mention make your boat look a little better cosmetically - even though some guys on here are great at carpeting with everything already put together
