Few pointers on using this paint.

1) use a foam roller that will be able to reach every part of the boat.

2) don't try and touch up the bad spots after the paint gets even a slight bit tacky.

3) use as little paint as possible squeeze the paint out of the roller before applying.

4) let dry at least 2 day's before sanding between coats.

5) a quart will yield 2 coats if not 3 depending on the size of boat ( mine is 124 sq. ft. ) Can say's a gallon will paint 600 sq.ft. but believe me if you go by that you will end up with a really thick gooey mess that will never cure.

6) I had to paint outside so timing was eveything, paint as early as possible the cooler the better. The paint will keep a wetter workable edge when it is 60 deg. compared to 75 or 80 deg. outside.

I have one more coat to put on which will be the 4th, not the best paint job but it has been by trial and error.
I used black for the outside and the inside will get red.

I painted mine with a spray gun, so the coats were likely thinner, but mine onl had to dry about 8 hours in the summer sun and it was more than ready to be sanded.
