I use mine almost everyone month out of the year, fishing or duck hunting. No such things as the offseason down here.

Havn't caught a feshwater fish in Dec.yet,latest was Nov.26...I think.

I store/cover my boat for the winter and instead store up on baits and tackle 8)
I use mine ALL the time.Its been so cold that when you get back to the launch & tilt the motor up to put your boat on the trailer the water is freezing as it runs off the lower unit.As soon as we get them out we put them in back of our SUV's so they don't freeze.
