Maiden Voyage

I took my "new to me" Mirrocraft Deep Fisherman out today for the first time since I bought it. It ran great, but I need to tweak the low speed adjustment a little. No leaks at all and hauls the mail with the 25hp Evinrude.

The best part is my wife and I had no "issues" at the ramp

The worst part is we got skunked.

That's good news.

Yea, I need to fine tune my low speed as well on my 25hp Johnson '81. I plan to pickup a tiny tach.

Glad to hear things went well with the maiden voyage! 8)

My wife and I get skunked more than we care to mention, but we always enjoy being out on the boat together.

yeah i got the chance to take the riverdawg out by myself for the first time yesterday

was great but still something felt missing

grats on your maiden voyage, i hope there are many more to come (non skunks of course)
