Hi All!
First wanted to say this is a great forum! I've been lurking for 2 weeks and have found so many great ideas and conversations.

Anyway, I'm Ben from Southeast Iowa and just picked up my first boat. It's a 14' Larson, got the boat and trailer both for $50.00 :) Sure made my day!

Well here's my first question, should be an easy one... I've attached the only two photos I've got of it for now, but looking at the close up there's a gap between that support and the hull... Someone has said hammer it back, and another said to fill it with silicone... I'd like to know what would be best though?

I'd like to spend this spring restoring/modding so I don't want to cut too many corners.

Thanks!
-Ben

Thanks for the welcome :) It'll still be several months before I can actually do anything with this boat but will try to ignore the seam there. Still hoping to get the title/registration on them first
