I need advise. I need to remove my center bench on my 1436 alumacraft I dont plan on decking I just need more floor space. I mostly fish for tarpon snook and shark and every time I get a big fish the center bench gets in the way. Last night a 8 foot hamerhead almost pulled me in because that darn center bench. My question is do I really need to put in a brace the stringers go up 3/4 the way up the side of the boat
