I found a scrap yard where they buy and sell mettals . Found aluminum cheap cheap, im going to get some today aprox 80 pounds to 100. ,). Im excitedfor my project . Whatdo u guys think should i get thicker aluminum sheets. Or thiner for my floor
 
Ok . But is it not going to bend a bit if i walk on it . I found a smoking deal on it thats why i ask !!! And also where the wood piece was outside transome part . Should i put a thocker piece of aluminum or eood again
 
Yes its going to be carpeted . Im talking about the outside piece where the motor is u can cee my pics . It use to be a wood piece . I took it off. . So im thinkin if i should just put a thicker aluminum plate there and then the bolts through the transom .
 
If you have aluminum, you can use it, but put thicker pieces there. After all, it supports your motor.
