1957 Pearl Liner 14ft Semi V-Bottom

I purchased a 1957 Pearl liner aluminum boat made by Vio Holda.When i purchased the boat it also came with a 1957 Gale Buchaneer 12hp motor.I think it might be the orginial motor that was with the boat.Im just wondering if anyone would happen to know any history of the mafuraters or about the motor and boat.I purchased a old ad off ebay that has 4 boats on it and one of them is the one i have the ad says" List 246.50 price and f.o.b Topeka.Its all welded not rivit.If anyone can help i would greatly appricate it.

Check duckworksmagzine.com they have a history of the motor and if you google gale buccaneer motors you will get more info.
