Hello all; :USA1:
Recently I purchased a 11' fiberglass boat that looks very much like a 13ft Boston Whaler (but it's not). Anyway, the owner had the boat sitting at dockside in the water for a summer. When summer was over he pulled the boat out but didn't have a trailer for it. So it sat on some pallets outside for over a year with the scum still on it #-o Needless to say, the dirt & scum got baked on pretty good. I was wondering if one of you could recommend a good cleaning product? I heard "On & Off" by Marykate was suppose to be good :-k Another marina told me muratic acid left on very very briefly & then hosed off.
What do you guys suggest? Also, is it very difficult to re-gell coat the bottom of a fiberglass boat?
Thanks in advance
