Seat mounts

Anyone use this product? It's called a "Swivl-Eze Jon Boat Seat Mount".

I got two of these, but looking at them, I get the impression that I have to unscrew the rear "hold down" bracket from the boat to remove the seats. Is this correct?

no, you do not have to remove the rear bracket to remove the seat.

Thanks for the reply. To remove the seat, does a person just slide it all the way to one side? The ones I received have plastic "safety stops" to keep it from sliding too far each way. I guess I would have to remove those.
