I took the Tracker down the Humber River Saturday morning. Didn't catch any fish, but enjoyed the ride! The boat performed well. Very stable. I was able to walk around and stand on both seats and cast without any trouble (I weigh 245 lbs), even on the swells of Lake Ontario. It is actually quite a bit more stable than I expected. Passed a few guys fishing from shore and could see the jealousy in their eyes!! :D

The Minnkota pushes the boat pretty well, but I do need an outboard to get me to the far away fishing holes. On the river it was great. I decided I needed a handle extension.

Great pictures. That's quite a trip with just your trolling motor.

Yeah, I ran the river from the boat launch to the mouth on lake Ontario at speed "4" on the motor. Took about 1/2 hour to get to the lake. Puttered around at the river mouth for about an hour and then headed back up the river on speed "1" and fished all the way up. I had the Minnkota battery tester so I made sure I wasn't running on fumes!

Nice pics! Looks like you had a great first outing. Whenever you remember the plug on the first trip it is a resounding success! =D>

Wow that looked like a ton of fun. Where is that boat launch? It looks big enough to handle my first attempt at launching my Tracker.

Cant wait to get it out on the water!!!

Its a great little public launch. Just south of Bloor street in Kingsmill Park. Google map it. Maybe I will see you down there.

Bot looks good, but the jealousy in my eyes is a result of that nice st.croix rod you got there

Good eye!! What you didn't see is the Shimano Calais DC reel I have on it. Rod and reel worth more than the boat! Love them both, my go to rig.
