Just wondering if there is a difference between exterior grade and pressure treated plywood. If regular, i.e non treated, wood is used, Thompson water sealer would be sufficient in preventing rotting of the wood for fair amount of time correct. The plywood will be used as a floor

Regular sealed wood is going to last almost as long as marine wood. PT wood should not be used due to corrosion (copper in the wood will react with the aluminum). Of course, aluminum is best 8) but not everyone can use or afford it :(
