I tried the search feature, no turn ups so here I go.

I don't like the ribs on the floor of my boat. It is a semi V. Has anyone had this done for them? Any idea on how much this might cost? I just want a low floor that will lay right over the ribs and then welded in. I'm thinking 1/8" sheet metal. Any ideas on what this might cost? Is it a good idea?

First post- Thanks Guys! Great website!

I would suggest using sheet aluminum because of rust and corrosion issues. You could then just rivet it to your ribs and put supports where needed. Are you flooring between bench seats? You could rivet some aluminum angle to the bench seats level with the ribs for floor support. A pic or two will probably get you more advice from the guys. Good luck
